Situation préoccupante en Belgique/Worrying situation in Belgium

La Belgique, beaucoup d'entre vous le savent, connaît une crise politique avec plusieurs pics depuis 30 ans. Ceci est lié au régionalisme exacerbé voire nationalisme de certains Flamands (néerlandophones). Pourtant la majorité des Belges, aussi bien néerlandophones, francophones et germanophones sont attachés à l'unité du pays et voient leurs compatriotes comme Belges avant tout.
Il est toutefois bon , dans le cadre de ces troubles politiques et identitaires de dénoncer une situation particulière.
Rappelons que les partis socialistes flamand et francophone sont séparés depuis 1978.
Il s'agit en effet de la situation du Parti socialiste flamand (Socialistisch Partij Anders) qui participe au gouvernement régional flamand avec les nationalistes du NV-A qui ont un discours populiste et francophonophobe (en plus du parti de droite CDV). Ceci est choquant car l'éthique socialiste n'admet pas ce genre d'alliance. Que, en Belgique, pays à régime parlementaire poussé, les partis de gauche et de droite soient amenés à faire des coalitions, semble assez logique, mais pas jusqu'à aller avec des personnes qui n'ont pas des idées humanistes.

Le socialisme se doit de respecter la notion d'"arc démocratique" (pour repousser l'extrême-droite). Déjà que le Parti socialiste flamand a abandonné son nom de "SP" pour SP-A lors de l'alliance avec les libéraux de Spirit, alors que beaucoup de citoyens de gauche leur reprochent d'avoir oublié la doctrine socialiste. La réunion des jeunesses socialistes internationales réunies à Zanka (Hongrie) cet été ont montré que les jeunes socialistes flamands approuvent de faire alliance avec l'extrême-droite, ce qui suscite la colère des jeunes socialistes francophones , eux aussi présents à Zanka. A ce propos le mouvement jeune socialiste flamand se fait appeler maintenant "Animo" parce que cela fait plus "tendance", bonjour la politique fan-club!
Notons que le mouvement vert flamand Groen ne veut pas participer à ce genre d'alliance, et il convient de saluer le fait que les Verts de Belgique constituent à la Chambre des Représentants le seul groupe trilingue unifié. Ce serait une avancée que les PS belges fassent de même et dépassent les antagonismes.

/ Belgium, as many people know yet, has gone through a political crisis with several peaks, since 30 years. That has to be linked with the heightened regionalism or deeper nationalism from certain Flemish (Dutch speakers). Nethertheless, the majority of Belgian (Dutch/French/German speakers) are attached to the country(s unity and see their compatriots as Belgian over all. It is necessary , in the context of these political and idenitary troubles, to blame a peculiar situation.
Let’s remember that the socialist parties in Belgium have been divided between Dutch speaking and French speaking since 1978.
It deals, indeed, with the situation of the Flemish socialist party (Socialistisch Partij Anders) who belong to the regional Flemish government with the nationalist of NV-A. Those have a populist and francophonophobe speech (and with the right party CDV). That is shocking as the socialist ethics don’t let to do that kind of alliances. To do a coalition left-right coalition in a deep parliamentarist Belgian regime is rather logical, to do one with people who don’t share humanist ideas not.

Socialism has to keep in its mind that the respect of the notion of “democratic bow” (in order to repulse extreme right). The Flemish socialist party has been blamed for having changing its name from ‘SP’ to ‘SP-A’ after the alliance with the liberals of ‘Spirit’ because many left citizens do not approve the fact that the Party has forgotten the socialist doctrine. The meeting of the international Socialist youthes in Zanka (Hungary), this last summer has shown that the Flemish youth socialist agree with the alliance with the extreme-right, that creates the angriness of the French speaking youth socialists, who were too in Zanka. By the way, the Flemish youth movement is called now ‘Animo’ because it would be supposed to be ‘more trendy’, welcome the fan-club politics!
Let’s remark that the Green Flemish movement ‘Groen’ doesn’t want to be part of this kind of alliance and it is admitable to highlight the fact that the Green of Belgium constitute the only unifed parlamentary group, beyond the three speaking people, in the Chamber of the Representants. This would a big progress that the Socialist Parties in Belgium do the same and exceed their antagonisms.
